Day/Time: Fortnightly Wednesday 2.00 pm Contact: Mrs Wilma Stewart 01224 722401

The club was formed on the October 12 1964 at a meeting at the church hall of about 40 pensioners when it was agreed to form a branch of the Old Age Pensioners Association. The first official meeting of the club was held on October 28 1964. The club today is independent and self financing. It has a membership of around 135 and continues to meet on Wednesday afternoons in the church hall on a fortnightly basis.

The meetings commence at 2.00 pm and finish at 4.00 pm. After the business meeting, members are served tea and biscuits followed by an hour of entertainment both musical and otherwise.

Special events during the year include a bus run, club birthday party and Christmas party.

The club has two members appointed to visit members who are ill, to deliver baskets of fruit and get well cards.

Club membership is open to all persons aged 60 years and over. Information regarding joining the club can be obtained from any office bearer, committee or ordinary member, in addition to the above contact. The club has a policy of welcoming new members from the Dyce and Stoneywood areas.
